Description

Please join us as at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church for our American Girl Club for people of all ages. Attendees do not need to have an American Girl doll to attend, just an interest in history and a willingness to join in the fun.

October's meeting will be in the upper courtyard kitchen.

Our proposed schedule is:

• September-October: Josefina, 1824 New Mexico (Hispanic culture)
• November-December: Molly/Emily, 1944 Illinois (World War II)
• January-February: Kirsten, 1854 Minnesota (immigration)
• March-April: Samantha/Nellie, 1904 New York (child labor)
• May-June: Addy, 1864 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (Civil War)
• July-August: Julie/Ivy, 1974 San Francisco, California (Bicentennial)
• September-October: Kaya, 1764 Pacific Northwest (Native American culture)
• November-December: Felicity/Elizabeth, 1774 Williamsburg, Virginia (Revolution)

Proposed activities include reading, cooking, crafts, field trips, an overnight lock-in, doll first aid, customized dolls, and guest speakers.

 
Please bring some money (if possible) to contribute for a historically accurate lunch that we shall make together as well as supplies.
